Venue showcase

Espoon VPK event venue is a well-lit event space close by to Espoo Cathedral in the rustic Espoo River valley. We’re only 7 minutes away from the Cathedral on foot or 4 minutes by car. The Funeral Chapel, too, is only a short distance away.

The venue went under renovation in 2024 and was put back in use starting May 1, 2024. Our facilities and surface materials were overhauled to give them a fresh look and modern functionalities. The attached kitchen space has mostly professional-grade appliances and coffeeware, all included in the rental fee. See pictures below.

Nominally, Espoon VPK venue can handle up to 120 persons. Please note that your event programme may take up some space, leaving less room for people. A typical guest count at weddings, for example, is around 60 to 100 persons.

Our event space is ideally situated near the crossroads of major roads and motorways: only 3 kilometres from both Ring road III (Kehä III) and National Highway 1 (Valtatie 1, Turun moottoritie). Local bus and train services are a mere 500 metres away.

Parking: 15 parking spots in front of the venue (upper courtyard). The lower courtyard is for Espoon VPK staff only, no customer parking. Thank you!

More parking space is available near the Funeral Chapel, at Pappilantie 12 and Kannusillankatu multi-storey parking lot, at Kannusillankatu 2.
